Everyone must have a bidder number to buy at the auction. You can pre-register online, or get your bidder number either Friday during preview hours, or Saturday morning prior to the auction. There is a $5.00 fee to get your bidder number and you must present current photo Identification to purchase.
No one under the age of 16 will be permitted on the auction premises during auctions. No person under the age of 21 can purchase a vehicle and will not be issued a bidder number. We can only title a vehicle to the state in which you hold a current driver's license. If you have recently moved to PA, you must get a PA license before purchasing - we cannot use your out of state I.D. to register your vehicle in PA.
PA State Law allows the purchaser 10 days to get the vehicle inspected.
When the auctioneer says sold, it is your vehicle and immediately becomes your responsibility.
The only form of payment we accept is CASH. No personal checks or credit cards.
There is a buyer's fee on every vehicle sold. Total purchase price consists of the bid amount plus the buyer's fee $100 + 6% of the bid amount. General merchandise (non-vehicle) will have a 10% buyer's fee and sales tax when applicable. Tax, title fee, and other processing fees will be charged separately. The fees are posted on the auction block and available upon request.
When you are the successful bidder, you are asked to proceed immediately to the bottom block and sign up for the vehicle. You are required to put down a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. If you do not have cash for the deposit, the vehicle will be resold. The deposit holds the vehicle for one week - closing time on the Friday after the sale by 5 pm.
For our customer's convenience we stay open until 8 pm on the Monday after a sale. You have 30 days to remove the vehicle from the premises, BUT IT MUST BE PAID FOR BY THE FRIDAY AFTER THE SALE.
MILES: Listen to the auctioneer, he is the only one who knows the actual miles on a vehicle. The auctioneer will make an announcement about the miles before each vehicle is sold.
Every vehicle that is to be sold is driven approximately 1 mile so that we can give you our opinion on the ENG & TRANSMISSION. THAT'S ALL!
Signs are posted around the building with important information -
